Real Estate Virtual Assistants and Social Networking

Real Estate Virtual Assistants and Social Networking

Real Estate Virtual Assistants and Social NetworkingThe times of snail mail, email and postcards are things of the past – social networking for your business growth and resilience is here to stay. But do you have time for it? Well, you should… and you shouldn’t.

It can’t (and shouldn’t!) be ignored – Real Estate Virtual Assistants and Social Networking is a perfect match! My business (and the business of my real estate client’s) has grown ten-fold over the past 6 months alone with the new niche’s of online marketing (via social networking) that I have learned and put into effect for my real estate agent clients. Here is a list of some of the immediate items that I recommend (and can also implement) for my clients when it comes to getting all the T’s crossed and I’s dotted in the real estate social networking and online marketing web of Internet:

  • Create at least one Fan Page on Facebook (use Facebook’s profile page for your PERSONAL use only!)
  • Register each blog website with Technorati
  • Each Blog Post must be added as bookmarks on Digg, Yahoo Buzz, StumbleUpon and Reddit
  • Utilize Ping.fm for mass updating to the top social networking sites
  • Add custom applications (such as RSS Feed, NetworkedBlogs, Market Snapshot, etc.,) to your Fan Page on Facebook
  • Update both Trulia and Zillow sites with Social Networking site links
  • Create a MyBlogLog account and add social networking site signatures to email account(s)
  • Add social networking widgets to all Blog Websites (including Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Plaxo)
  • Search engine optimize blogs created with keyword/keyword phrases for consist crawling and increase in ranking

These are the basics that must be carried out (and consistently continued where applicable) when putting all the social networking and online presence into place – there of course is much more to be done all of which can be outsourced to a real estate virtual assistant. This coupled with your own 5-10 minutes a day of your personal input and touches will get you where you need to be and get you what you want to have – more time to make more money.

Facebook Page vs. Profile? Things that make you say “Hmmmm”

Facebook Page vs. Profile?

Facebook Page vs ProfileDoes this question make you say, “Hmmmm“, scratch your head, turn and move on to the next task on your endless list? You’re a business professional, right? So, why do you want to understand? Do you really need to? Wouldn’t your time be better spent on selling? So many questions!

I know that everyone of the clients I come into contact with, whether they are Realtors, lawyers or life coaches, want to understand social networking – to a certain extent. And so you should, or you’ll be left behind the rest of the world wondering what happened! But, to be proficient at utilizing these websites (such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn) is not what you are in business for, and is not what you should be spending your days (and nights) trying to figure out.

As a virtual assistant since 2001, the core of my business has been built being ever-present online, which in turn has thrust me into the depths of staying on top of the social networking waves of change. We would say, I’m an avid surfer! With the hands-on experience and direct results I have witnessed over the years, from keeping both myself and my clients in the forefront of our future buyer’s computer screens, I am able to proficiently provide a how-to approach and/or a get it done social networking package to you.

If you would like to learn more about Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other high-traffic social networking websites or how I can make them work for you (with very little time invested by you), please complete the form below and I’ll be in touch with you shortly.

Virtual Assistance is one of the fastest growing home-based businesses in the U.S. and for good reason – we save you time, money and things that make you say “Hmmmm”!

Virtual Assistance and Social Media – The Impact

Virtual Assistance and Social Media – The Impact

Virtual Assistance and social media and how it has impacted our businesses really cannot be truly appreciated.  It really is an understatement to simply say that social media is exploding among every industry in the world today, including virtual assistance.  I have established and provided many great contacts, referrals, and businesses within social media sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Youtube.

But to really gain a true understanding of the utter extent of social media and how much of an impact it is having in our (personal and) professional lives, please take a look at the video I have included below.

The question that comes to mind when taking this all in is, “What’s next?” Could you have fathomed that something like Facebook would have existed 5 years ago? How about Twitter? Just when I think there can be nothing new to enrich my business to a whole other level, these social networking sites bring them way over the edge! I can say that I have increased my business by double over the last year simply due to my strategic Facebook usage.

Don’t forget that there are hundreds, no, thousands of groups that directly relate to you and your business on Facebook (and Twitter). Simply adding yourself as a “Fan” will not cut it. Interact. Provide Insight. Don’t be shy! People really do want to hear from you – but remember – not about what you had for breakfast or what you think you’ll buy at the store today. Once in a while it is ok to include some personalization to your posts, but make it low priority.
