Does Your Virtual Assistant Think Outside The Box?

Does Your Virtual Assistant Think Outside The Box?

Does Your Virtual Assistant Think Outside The Box?There are so many ways to utilize social networking within your business(es) and in turn utilizing your virtual assistant to carry out such tasks.  But is she/he making the most of what’s available to entice, capture and keep new leads and prospective clients for you?

Blogs are one way to show the world that you are staying current within your business niche and what is happening within your industry.  Having your virtual assistant posting blogs at least twice a week is paramount to keeping new content flowing into your website and keeping the SEO Gods close at hand.

But this isn’t exactly thinking outside the box now is it?  One way that your virtual assistant can make an impact within your social networking and social media masses is by incorporating video blogs (also known as vlogging) into her routine.  This can be done very easily and with little to no expense.

Remember, your video must be compelling to the viewer - if you don’t grab their interest within the first 10 seconds of your video blog, then you’ve just wasted your time (and voice!).

Another thing to remember when creating your video blogs is to upload them to other social sites, including YouTube, Blip.tv, Archive.org, Facebook, Vimeo and Flickr.  I can attest to the known fact that by doing so your client’s websites will at least quadruple the traffic they would get if you were to just insert the video blog  into only their website.

Below is an example of one short video blog that was created to promote a real estate agent’s website MLS search capabilities.

Virtual Assistant vs Hiring An Employee

Virtual Assistant vs Hiring An Employee

An entrepreneur or small business owner who attempts to be a “One-Man Show”, who continually works IN their business not ON their business, is essentially losing around 50% in lost revenue due to unproductive time management.  The more time the business owner can work ON their business, focusing on activities that bring revenue (such as networking, marketing, planning, and delivering) the faster their business will flourish and they will profit.  Enter: Virtual Assistant.

Teamwork and Hiring A Virtual Assistant

Virtual Assistants

are less expensive than employees and often offer specialized skills.  At an average of $35 per hour, you may be wondering how an employee could possibly be more expensive.
